

MLK Day
MLK Day is one of my all-time favorite Club events. Not only do we get to celebrate diversity and promote acceptance and awareness, but we also get to educate youngsters who might not understand the incredible impact of MLK on our world today. Because our Club is open 7:30am-5:30pm and we tend to have fewer members, it is a great opportunity to cultivate relationships, educate on a more meaningful level, and provide a day full of fun. Kidsmas Craze
I hate when people misspell things for the purpose of alliteration. So if you are thinking "Why didn't she write Kidsmas Kraze?" It is because I can't OK? I just can't. Maybe it is the former English teacher in me. Maybe it is because I am a literate human being. I don't know what it is, but it strikes an irrational frustration in me. Patriot's Day Packet
I was a freshman in high school. I stayed home because I had a fever and was sick as a dog. I was home alone and sleeping on the bottom of my bunk bed. I woke up suddenly as my mom called the cordless phone. She said, “Honey, turn on the TV.” I was out of it as I just woke up and while rubbing my eyes said, “which channel?” She responded, “It doesn’t matter…” I was so confused. I turned on my 19” tube TV and went numb. I heard screaming, crying. I saw smoke, tons of smoke. Ch
